Having explored the question of resourcing, and considered the prayers and discussions that have taken place, the PCC decided, unanimously, that we should postpone working towards the additional service at 9:15 and the Daybreak service once a month. Thank you to everybody who prayed at home or in Church, to those who have sent us their thoughts, and particularly to those who have worked on this project. It is our intention to give a full explanation of this decision. Heather & Richard Aids to reading the Bible Phil Hunter is our representative for Bible Reading Notes. Please contact Phil if you are interested 862822, phil.hunter@uwclub.net We are in need of a new rep for Christian Aid in Cogges Parish. If you feel that you could help with this please contact the office 779613. Remember Harvest for Sierra Leone The money we sent was to provide for a farm on a new drug re-habilitation centre at Grafton - the residents are moving in and the official opening is April 9th 2012. Churchyard Trees. A recent survey of the trees in the churchyard listed a number of tasks needed to be undertaken to improve the condition and safety of some of the trees. Whilst some of the work can only be carried out by qualified tree surgeons some of the jobs can be done by a volunteer workforce. I propose to lead this on Saturday 10th March starting as soon after 9am as we can as there is a wedding at 1pm. We have a reserve date of 24th March should the weather not be suitable. Not all the work required needs super fit people and the more helpers we get the more we can get done on a Saturday morning. If you can help in any way please put this date in your diary. More details later but if you know now you can help please email phil.hunter@uwclub.net or phone me on 862822. In the meanwhile, if you know someone who has access to and can use a chainsaw please let me know. Car Parking- Loving reminder. Please will you make sure that you do not park on the footpath as disabled people are not able to get by? Thank you. Dishes. If you have supplied Andrew with a meal at any time, we have various containers in the Church Office that may have been used for this. Can you please come and collect them during office hours. Thank you. "Time well spent" An evening for everyone involved with the Besom in Witney and for those who want to find out more about the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.
