There will be two opportunities for us to gather together to worship, pray and learn together on Wednesday evenings - 3, 10,17, 24 March 8-9.30pm in Church (starting with drinks & cakes) and on Thursday mornings - 4, 11, 18, 25 March 9.15-10.30 in Church (starting with drinks & cakes).Children are welcome! 'Bereavement - Understanding the grieving process' The focus of the Prayer Ministry Team training session on Saturday morning 20th February is on increasing our understanding so as to help us come alongside those who are facing major loss. Junior Church Ruth Lockwood has decided to step down from her role as the Co-ordinator of Junior Church. Thank you very much, Ruth, for your years of ministry to the children. We are about to advertise for our youth pastor so it is timely that we look towards the future of Junior Church. Expresso Breakfast "A Light in the Darkness: The Privilege of Making a Difference" We are delighted that Baroness Caroline Cox will be coming to speak at Expresso Breakfast on Sat 27th Feb. Caroline has worked to provide humanitarian relief to Christian communities in Burma, Sudan, Nigeria and Indonesia. She has travelled to some of the darkest places in the world and has seen terrible suffering and persecution, yet has stories of hope and courage to share with us. The breakfast provides a lovely opportunity for women of all ages to get together. Do come along, enjoy some food and friendship, and be inspired and challenged! 9-10.30am in the Church Centre. Fundraising Concert for Haiti There is a fundraising Gospel Concert at Headington Baptist Church on Saturday 20th February at 6pm. This has been organised by Tearfund supporters.
